Overview

Grand Bahama Island is known for its beauty, beaches and rum-running past. It's also home to Lucayan National Park, home to one of the longest underwater caves systems on the planet. Tour the museum then sample barrel-aged rums at John Watling's Distillery. At our private island, Great Stirrup Cay, it's about having your best beach day ever. Day 2 Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas (Tuesday)

From the waterfront to the end of Bay Street, you'll find some of the best duty-free shopping and a charming mix of architecture, both old and new. But there's plenty to do besides shopping - swim with the dolphins, try your luck in a casino or snorkel with colourful fish. Day 4 Grand Bahama Island, Bahamas (Thursday)

Water lover? We got you. Sun worshipper? There’s plenty of it. Whether you’re looking to kick up some sand or kick back and relax, Grand Bahama Island has it all. Make new friends while you swim with pigs. Paddle your way in a kayak through a protected mangrove forest. Or go for a snorkel beneath the sea and discover tropical fish of every colours.
